RE: "10 Winter Essentials"

via re-definedope.blogspot.com. Wow. I know it's inexcusable for me to be this late in posting this, but "better late than never" right? My bad, but here you are dope boys!

1...st and foremost, no one can leave the house with the basic survival cards! More specifically for me are: my driver's license (which will be the top priority in 9 days cause it's my legal BC ID, ye), my Kwantlen student card, my library card and of course... my tucked away dough in my bank cause I hardly ever carry cash.

2. My chez Roldan keys, that I recently just found after a month of thinking I lost it. Ironic thing was that I found them after my dad went to copy new ones after my request. Plus, an addition of my hot Bikram yoga membership card just in case I randomly feen for a session. Sorry that my keychain doesn't have the "hype things" attached to it. I like to keep things simple, especially when it concerns more weight for me to carry around my day. Haha.

3. The only technology I carry: my BB Javelin and my 1st generation ipod nano. Those two are a contradiction when next to each other eh. But one thing they have in common? They're both presents! The BB from Justing and the ipod from Megan way back for my 17th birthday. Mad appreciation cause without these two..... I'd consider myself a hermit.

4. My simply bare cosmetics when it comes to "beautifying" myself: Covergirl Outlast eyeliner in black onyx, CoBigelow Mentha Lip Tint (which I bought 980656 from the US cause they're only available there), and last but least.. Burt's Bees beeswax lip balm that I would choose over Chapstick or any other lip balm anyday. Although I don't really need these lip moisturizers cause my lips hardly ever get cracked or dry, but it just feels nice to be protected on the lips during the inconsistent weather Vancouver goes through!

5. My "jewelry that I can wear in the shower" aka, real gold. Both jewelry have a significant amount of sentimental value. The ring was my grandma's 6th birthday present for me when I first immigrated to Canada that still fits on one of my fingers to this day. The necklace from my Seaman uncle for my 8th birthday present and, need I say that it's my most prominent Jesus piece that I hardly ever take off. I could live with just these 2 accessories when heading out, for real.

6. One of my petite sling-shoulder purses that I have grown to be obsessed with as of late or my Nike school purse that will almost be 3 years old that impressively fits my Macbook and huge textbooks. By the way, this picture does not do justice to my extensive purse collection..... the ones pictured are my current fixation haha. Also, notice that I'm not the type of girl to highly maintain myself with brand name labels cause the only one up there that is branded is Nike. The other four are either from vintage stores, Value Village or a random store that gets overlooked all for a bargained price, wooh. Plus, those Coach/Gucci/Guess purses are too generic and pardon me, not very fashionable..... well, according to my preferences.

7. One scarf from my overwhelming collection of scarves that not only serve for the comfort and heat aspect but for fashion purposes. Damn, how many do I have?!?!? (I also have Donnel's black scarf in my possession after him lending it to me during a chilly sesh, but that one's in my closet neatly folded until the next time he reminds me to give it back)

8. One pair of shoes to complete my daily outfit from my "kooky shoescination" varying from different styles, but serving for the sole satisfaction of my comfort, duh. Like my purses, these are my current fixes and have plenty plenty more (ie, sandals/summer wear) tucked away in my closet.

9. A pack of gum. If ya'll know me well enough, you know my favourite is either a pack of Frost Bites or Ice Breakers Ice Cubes! Mmm.. But unfortunately I just recently finished a pack for the weekend which explains the lack of picture. Google it?

10. Last but not least... A PAIR OF NUNCHUCKS. If you're special, I'll use them on you ;)

Hahahaha just kidding. Those are my brother's (who's taking Tae Kwon Do and who would stick up for his Ate any given opportunity haha). I don't carry those around, I just had to think of a last one for the lack of a better necessity. If those were foldable into a minuscule shape, sure! Especially with the terrifying outdoors of the Lower Mainland lately. But that's after my brother teaches me how to not knock my own self with it.

And there 'ja go! Thanks for the idea of this entry, Earl and Ryan, even if it is almost 2 months late. Good night everyone!
