May Your Pain Be Champagne.

Finally I've found the time to update ya'll about my existence! I must warn you for an extensive entry, though.

- First week of second semester? Psych with a sweet prof, or so it seems. Asian Philosophy, I predict, will provide me with the most wisdomic scholarly quotes. Criminology is apparently an easy A, pre-judging from the word around campus about the brilliantly eclectic prof. English partially online served me well in first semester so I plan to utilize this advantageous approach to learning on a consistent basis. Time to really buckle down for this last semester so I can feel somewhat proud to welcome summer with successes. So what am I doing here at this hour? I got Fridays off, baaaby!

- The duration of working so many hours during the winter break paid off with my overwhelmingly whopping paycheck. For those who didn't know, I get paid $16/hr as a receptionist tending to hotel guests who check in or out, answering phones for inquiries, reservations and (sometimes) stupid questions and half my time is spent cruising in the cyberworld. So, when I'm on msn and my name is related to working, message me and I'm actually there! Haha. I've been steady at this field of work for almost 4 years now. Sweet, I never would have guessed a Best Western would do me this good!

- From 8 bbm contacts when I first got my phone to now, 26?! I know it's safe to say that the Blackberry world among my friends is growing like an epidemic! For those who have an iphone or any other mediocre phone, sorry to have to break it to ya but ya'll are missing out. A warm welcome goes out to my best Homegirl for finally receiving her Bold courtesy of the those who chipped in for the present and to Homeboy J for falling into my trap of purchasing himself the Javelin (which I will eventually possess as well, all thanks to him, yay!).

- Cruisin' has redeemed this hectic and dramatic start of the new year. The first day of school consisted of dinner at Whitespot just ordering appies and desserts which our waitress resented us for (bitch) then cruising all the way from Richmond to Downtown then back to Richmond again. In between were much-needed pep talks, the canonball going off at 9pm at Stanley Park, singing/butchering old school jams with the windows down, a visit to an 18+ store hahaha ( "You just get suffocated by porn!" ...I don't know if that was a good or bad thing but all I can tell ya is that it was my first time okay?), and Blenz coffee to end off our night. Then just last night, Serjoe came by to drop off his sister's Psych book, then Ferd (with Rowell) just had to make me experience front seat cruisin in his ballin' Cadi before we went to the park near my house. For those who didn't know again, yes I've had my fair share of Mary Jane. But honestly, the last time I used her was back in September 08. How I've missed her and those boys, seriously. But spontaneous catch-ups are at its best.

- My 12 hr sleep last night was heavenly. Thanks for forcing me to sleep at such a foreign time for me, J. And to just throw this out there, thanks for the past 2 years. From a forbidden friendship, to an unofficial relationship, to a resentful (and at one point in time, non-existent) friendship then back to a stronger than ever homie-ship.... you just about did it all for me. You've proven the concept of Loyalty, Hip-Hop and being a Willing Don in this inconsistent, tipsy-turvy life of ours. Despite those 'fuck you, I hate'chu, I don't wanna talk to you, you suck, you're gay/retarded/weird'-times, the most important message from me to you are... endless thank you's and I still got'chu's.

- I need to downsize my tongue ring cause this long bar is annoying the frick outta me! Aside from that though, I definitely do not regret getting this pierced. It's so fun! No joke or sexually charged joke intended!

- I miss my daily yoga! Enough said. Stupid holiday food and weight haha.

Basically...... I just need to learn how to keep cruisin (all puns intended), fix small shit, and balance equilibrium. Master that, and shit will be brutal in 2009... in a good way. Haha.

From now on, I'm putting up the peace sign (and in any scenarios necessary) my index down. Cause I got work to do and I don't know if that works for you. But my work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.

It's-flattering-but-please-don't-murder-my-Meaning-because-my-Word-is-my-Soul,
Denise Isabelle.
