Priorities in tact!

Currently: at work, laughing at my constant misfortune with alarm clocks.

Hahahaha so I came in an hour late today. My pleasant awakening at 8:20am was a call from my co-worker saying that I was supposed to come in at 8. Well I obviously knew that but damn my cellphone alarm clock for always backfiring on me. Other than that though, I must admit.. my sleep was heavenly. Sorry for falling asleep on you though baby (that's twice now! On your bed & on the phone... my bad), but I can't fuck with your dates with your tv every night haha.

A speedy update about the new & upcoming post-secondary life starting next week.....
Guess who's only going to school for 2 days a week, suckas?! Brilliant guesses if you said Denise! Haha. I managed to register in the Kwantlen Richmond with the courses of Philosophy, Sociology, English and of course, Criminology. Tuesdays & Thursday I'll be nerding it up from 10am-6pm with 2 hr lunch breaks so be ready to rely on luck to get ahold of me during those times. I am in dire wishes to get back on my driven knack for academics. The best part/(s)? My money will still be racking in with the help of my seniority cause I only requested Sunday, Monday & Wednesday night shifts. For all you smart or not-so smart alecks.... that means I got freeeeeeeedom all day Friday and Saturday! Let's hope first semester is a blast cause I'm pretty overwhelmed from excitement and just plain.. scared shitless-ness.

------ Alright, my migraine is still messing with my head but not as severe as earlier. Anyhow, did I ever mention how I love my work? Random bit: just now a German couple gave me a bottle of "Sonora Ranch Chardonnay" as a token of appreciation after checking out. Maaan, is my failure at sobriety that obvious from my face? Hahaha I'm kidding. I don't practice sobriety but I'm also not an alcoholic! Did I also mention how my summer wrapped up really nicely post-Phils vacay? Much gratitude to those unplanned encounters in Surrey either just bumming around in my boyfriend's house, random plans with his chill homies either munching, playing video games/rockband, watching movies, bowling. You all know how to welcome a girl (especially with the initiation of the Kings drinking game and the playful ridicule I never cease to endure.) We don't ever have to get fancy to satisfy the rest of my day, remember that.

Other than the anticipated hectic school, the fun aspects of work, and the some kind of wonderful boyfriend... home life is a bust. But then again, when is it not? Thank goodness I get to tie myself up with all those things to occupy myself from the anal mother again. In time.. I'll be out of your hair, I promise.
