BS... where have you been all my life? Or are you asking me the same question? Hmm.. I won't make excuses... I've just either been reallyreally busy or reallyreallyreally lazy to post shit up.
Here's the most important up & current jist/jizz:
1. I got my letter of acceptance from Kwantlen University/College. I've self-reported my marks to UBC & SFU and so far, I've been accepted to UBC Vancity campus & the Okanagan (but wtf, me & the country? Not happening man! But at least it's one more University option). Fricken SFU though, doesn't give out conditional acceptances after you self-report, hmph!
2. After the whole grad dress stress...... I finally found the dress that was "made" for me. It was actually a pretty freakydeaky kinda story. After a whole night of bickering/crying/arguing/& shit & running on nada hours of sleep, it was like God put that dress there in that store to end all my misery! 1st of all, I went all the way to the states to look for one but nothing. 2nd of all, the first store we ever checked out yesterday, the lady had something up her ass; saying all this negative & discouraging bullcrapola about how late it is and my options are now 'limited', just STFU. 3rd of all, we weren't even going to check out that store 'cause the plan was to go to Hastings&Burnaby for their bridal shops there, but ma insisted nonetheless. 4th of all (which is the freakiest 'of alls'), I found my 2nd choice('cause my 1st choice is totally impossible to custom-make) dress (right from the designer's website) on the rack & when I tried it on... it fit perfectly! No joke. I'm Pharell/foreal. The lady even said that I got the 'bride luck' or someshxt relevant and 'cause of that, the owner gave us a special discount 'cause she couldn't believe the 'sight' she saw when I came out of the dressing room. So scratch the custom-made 4bills dress, ix-nay the Bello dress I wanted to order, and flush all the perfect grad dress stress! Thank you Lord, literally.
3. Time to cop&shop for sexy shoes to match my dress, a sexy matching [bow]/tie for baby, a sexy commencement dress for the actual graduation date, a sexy dress for my momma to wear for that night, a sexy outfit for my little brother. Eeeeee I can't wait! Being excited for grad is a total understatement at this point!
4. My net's been pmsing lately 'cause of the wires. So I gotta wait for Shaw to come & fix it. And how am I connected now? Well, I literally connected the cable before the splitter to my laptop 'cause I wanted to blog while the bubba's catching some zZzZz's.
5. Making up is what we do best eh? I firmly believe that now. Although we are such bitches/jerks who rub it in even further to each other.... we got that 'Hood Love' where we cussin & we screaming like it's over but then lovin' & feenin' just to hold ya. "Don't mess with my man with the Jagged Edge" is a song for all ya'll doubters/haters/especially home-wreckers. I'm proud of his changed ways and with our reassurances last night, it's just us two. Despite our questionable states when things go wrong, despite the past that keeps wanting to haunt us and interfere, despite our cautious attitudes.......... I'm stickin' it out, he's stickin' it out, we're stickin' it out. Because we got what we want in mind and nothing and especially no one's going to screw that all up in order for us to achieve what we want. Our rainbow's still in tact & we're still both on it.
6. RIP to your grandma Isabelle babe. Although I never got to meet her, tell Isabelle that Isabelle will see her someday. Prayers still consistent especially for my cousins/fam in Deadmonton. But yeyeyeye, April the month for you baby! (You know and can sense my excitement about that one already, so I don't need to re-iterate again)
7. [Lucky #7!] People, especially those that don't see me on a regular basis have said that I've lost weight! So yeeeeessss, my working out, eating healthy (well, I try... hello! I do live right across a McD's) and eating in healthier proportions are working perfectly! Hopefully, by the time grad & the Phils come around the corner, I'll be satisfied =]
8. Ummm... all I can think of is how hungry I am. HAHA. Oh shoot, doesn't that contradict #6? Heh heh heh. Sheesh, just 'cause I've lost weight, doesn't mean I'm doing it through malnurishment, anorexia or bulimia. Gross. I've gotta wait til my fam comes back from grocery shopping though. Urgh.
9. I got a promotion offer (that I have accepted) from work! I'll still be a front desk receptionist, but some days or even some hours during receptionist stuff, I'll be busybee-ing as the Management Administrative Assistant! Which equals, dealing with the background of the hotel, the nittygritty dirty work and confidentiality aspect of the Hotel Hospitality bussiness. How good does that look on my resume?
10. I really need to take going to school seriously. HAHA. I usually skip out on my day 2's 'cause it's such a joke of a day-day! Literally all spares (Religion, Info Tech, Spare) except for my French provincial course. Slap me if I contradict my keener phase for the next 2 mos somebody? I'll pay you..... with food! Hahaha, I'm kidding.
...... UH OH. I just published this post as a check to see how long it is... and holymotherofpearls is this long! Sorry if I've bored you. But... take gratitude in it (someway, somehow) 'cause this BS won't be receiving any dish on the deets for another long time until I find something totally blog-worthy to rant about 'cause I've re-visited writing in a journal/diary again. 'Cause I've realized that although I have a blog, that is hella public, to shed some thoughts, I have thoughts worth confidentiality due to it's 'explicit content' (hahaha) that do not need judgemental strangers to read. So......
